We manufacture approved junction boxes for easy and quick connection of multiple load cells. All our junction boxes can be used for the connection of a any type of analogue load cell used in a variety of applications such as: Platform Scales, Weighbridges, Material Handling, Process Control and Bagging-Hopper Scales.

Each junction box can be paired with our range of Weighbridges, Axle Weighing Scales and Weighing Software for a complete weighing solution.

 

 

The analogue junction box (ABJ) is used for the connection of up to 10 analogue load cells. The analogue signals of the inputs are combined together to produce a corrected and adjusted weight value, which will be displayed on a weight indicator.

All boxes are available with explosion protection according to EEx ia IIC T6 (with “EEX ia” name plate and blue cable glands). The aluminium box is also available with explosion protection according to EEx e IIC T6 (with “EEX e” name plate and black cable glands). All junction boxes can be connected with a shielded 6-wire cable to the instrumentation.

The painted aluminium junction boxes and the stainless steel junction boxes are designed to connect up to 4 load cells in parallel. The polyester junction boxes are designed to connect up to 6 or 8 load cells in parallel (their design includes surge arrestors for lightning protection).

The digital junction box is designed to connect up to 4 analogue load cells, and to offer the performance and the advantages of a digital load cell configuration. It contains all transducer electronics to excite the strain gauge, amplify, filter and convert the analogue signal of each load cell to a digital form. The signals of the 4 inputs are combined to produce a corrected and adjusted weight value. The digital junction box, comes in a robust stainless steel housing and represents a reliable and professional solution for a multitude of weighing applications.
